Pierce Private Burying Ground

Located on farm in Sylvan Township, Washtenaw Co., MI on gravel road to Manchester off M17 near Chelsea.  Farm was owned by Miss Pierce, Chelsea, MI.   -Thank you to Elaine Lovelace for typing and supplying the list

Three unmarked graves presumably the graves of Joshua's parents Stephen and Jane Spinks Downer.  Stephen was a Rev. soldier. DAR Patriot Index pub. 1966, pg.201 Stephen Downer b. circa 1765, d. 1840 m. Jane Spinks, Pvt Vt.
